Faith and Laughter

“Is God a reality, as real as a truth in science or as reasonable as a conclusion in logic? Can one demonstrate that God is as real as the experiment that H2O is water? In other words, can we prove that God is?”

In this sermon, Rabbi Olan explores whether the existence of God is a sound conclusion based on science. And he considers the nature of atheism and what it means for our view of life and our role in it.

Finally he imagines a generation of the future “which will have no heritage of faith or meaning. What for them will be the source of great love, high morality, fervent hope, or undying ideals?”

(Hint: You have to go all the way to the conclusion to find out what all of this has to do with laughter!)
